This Privacy Policy explains what information globesimreg.ph collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Who We Are
globesimreg.ph is an independent informational guide website about Globe SIM registration in the Philippines. We are not Globe Telecom, not the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), and not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Globe Telecom, NTC, or any government body.
We publish guides that help readers understand how to register a Globe SIM, check registration status, fix common problems, and stay safe from scams. We do not register SIM cards, and we do not process SIM registrations on this website.
The official place to register a Globe SIM is the official Globe portal at new.globe.com.ph/simreg, the GlobeOne app, or a Globe Store. If you need help with your actual SIM registration, contact Globe directly through its official hotline 211.
What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your SIM registration data on this website.
We never ask you to enter, upload, or send us any of the following through globesimreg.ph:
- Your mobile number for registration
- Your one-time password (OTP)
- A photo or scan of your government-issued ID
- Your selfie for identity verification
- Your SIM registration reference number
- Your password or account PIN
If any page, form, message, or advertisement pretending to be this site asks you for those details, do not provide them. Register only on the official Globe portal or through the GlobeOne app, and never share your OTP with anyone.
Information We May Collect
1. Information You Voluntarily Provide
If you use our Contact Us form, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to read and respond to your inquiry, for example to correct an article or answer a question about a guide.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message. Do not send OTPs, ID photos, passwords, or SIM registration details. We do not need them, and we will not ask you for them.
2. Technical and Usage Information
Our hosting and analytics tools may automatically record basic technical information, such as pages viewed, approximate time of visit, device and browser type, approximate city-level location from your IP address, and the referring site. This helps us fix broken pages and improve guides. We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Cookies
We use cookies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. See our Cookie Policy for full detail. Some cookies are essential for the site to load, while others help us measure visits and remember basic preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information above only to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve globesimreg.ph
- Respond to messages sent through the Contact Us page
- Understand which guides are helpful and which need updating
- Detect and address technical problems, spam, or misuse
- Comply with applicable law, if required
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use information collected on this site to register, activate, deactivate, or change any SIM card.
Third-Party Services and Links
globesimreg.ph links to third-party websites, including the official Globe portal, app stores, and government pages. When you click an external link, you leave this website and that third party’s policy applies. We are not responsible for external sites’ privacy practices or security. Our site may also use third-party hosting, analytics, or embedded-content tools that collect technical information under their own policies.
Data Retention
We keep contact-form messages only for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and maintain a record of corrections or feedback. Technical and analytics data is retained in aggregated or de-identified form for as long as needed to understand site performance and improve content. We do not retain SIM registration data because we do not collect it.

We may ask for enough information to verify your identity and locate the message. We will not ask for OTPs, ID photos, or passwords. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your rights have been violated.

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we receive, including standard website security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information through the Contact Us form, and never send OTPs, ID photos, or passwords to any guide site.
